If we do not receive payment by credit card by the date due, or do not receive payment by check by the date due, then we will impose a finance charge of 12% APR for each month's outstanding balance. We will impose a $10 late fee for each month's late payment.
Paypal offers a secure server for credit card transactions. We take Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover credit cards.
You can add or subtract anything during the construction process.
The main mode of communication will be via e-mail if at all possible.
A CGI script array allows your page to be dynamic. To have a form, calendar, or bulletin board as part of your site, you would need a cgi script array. A script array means that there are several scripts, or unseen pages, in order to add one particular functionality. CGI scripts are difficult to make work, need special codes, and take a lot of time, which is why we charge moderate and complex differently. To have a cgi script, we require the server your site is on to be a UNIX server and have PERL 5 capability.
During the construction process, we will mount the page(s) on either your or our server site so you can see it with your browser and make comments so we can make the appropriate changes. We will develop the main page as completely as possible before creating subsequent pages, because they usually closely interrelate.
For your site to have credit card transaction and shopping cart functionality (if needed), we will direct you to one of four companies that we think is the best, depending on your needs. Some offer the capability to sell goods and services while another offers the capability to sell digital content. With these companies, there are no setup fees, no software needs, no merchant account needs, no monthly fees, and no minimum fees. The credit card company will take a percentage of whatever amount your client transacts. These companies are excellent for small businesses. All companies are very secure-minded and offer secure servers for your clients to make credit card transactions. You will have your own account with one of these companies, and you will be able to maintain your own account. Unless there's a cgi script array, we don't charge anything to get you set up for credit card transactions capability. Danillitphil Productions is not liable in any way if you deal with these companies.
We ask that you respond in a timely manner. If we think we have finished your site and contact you via e-mail, we ask that you respond within one week. After one week, we will assume the site is to your satisfaction, and we will bill you.
We will need to deliver your pages. We would like to FTP to your server site, but that means you need to give us the information to do so. We prefer this way instead of you downloading the page(s) because often we need to debug the pages' relationship with the server, which is usual.
If we do the work according to your specifications and you do not pay us by the due date, and you do not make payment arrangements, or if you make payment arrangements and do not pay us by the due date, after two consecutive months we will have to pull your pages and keep any payment you've made. We will also impose a finance charge of 12% APR for each month's outstanding balance, and a $10 overdue fee each month. If your check is returned due to insufficient funds, we will also charge you a $35 returned check fee. We will reinstate your pages after payment (including any charges) is made in full. We try to be flexible and are very willing to make payment arrangements with you.
We have a 30 day warranty from the day of delivery. It is our experience that a 30 day warranty is more than sufficient to know if your page(s) work well and consistently. We will periodically check your page and adjust it if necessary. This way, we can make sure your page is up and running successfully. Note that we have no control over server or client-side computer problems. If the page(s) is delivered via you downloading it, this warranty is nullified, because we would have no way to adjust it on your server.
We agree that neither one of us will sell or give away any name, address, e-mail address, phone number(s), or any other information to anyone else.
We will need personal and/or business information, probably including passwords. Please know that we are bound by confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality in the strictest sense.
You agree to have our link on every page we construct.
If you are having a problem, even if you agreed to pay in full after construction, please let us know so we can work something out. You must communicate this problem BEFORE final delivery of your web page(s). If that happens, then we have the option to ask you to make monthly payments. Minimum monthly payments are:
$20 per month minimum for 1 to 10 pages
$40 per month minimum for 11 to 20 pages
$50 per month minimum for 21 or more pages
We will impose a finance charge of 12% APR for each month's outstanding balance. We will impose a $10 late fee for each month's late payment. We reserve the sole right to accept or reject this option. Again, we are very willing to work things out with you. Communication is the key.
